Therapeutic Rituals
Closing of the Bones Ritual
The Closing of the Bones Ritual is a ceremonial healing practice designed to support women in integrating the profound physical and emotional journey of pregnancy and birth, including any losses along the way. Rooted in traditional postpartum care practices found across many cultures, this ritual creates intentional space to process your conception journey and birth and loss stories, reconnect with your body, and gently transition into this next chapter of motherhood or life in general if becoming a mom was not in the cards.
In a culture where postpartum care often focuses solely on the baby, this ceremony centers the mother’s experience, offering a moment to be held, witnessed, and nourished.
